Triathlon – considered one of the toughest triathlons in Australia with over 300 people competing. There is also a junior triathlon for the younger athletes to test their toughness.
Bull Riding – the PBR Bull Riding competition attracts cowboys from across the country to compete to take home the $10,000 prize money.
Bog Snorkelling – battle through the bog with only your mask snorkel and flippers to cover you through zero visibility water. If you’re not up for getting dirty it’s one hell of a spectator sport!
Horse Races – the Artesian Express Race Day takes place during the festival and is one of the richest races in northwest Queensland.
