With 15 years of hard dance madness under their belt, Intents festival remains as one of Holland’s most beloved events. The annual three-day event is one of the largest and most progressive dance festivals in Europe. Over 40,000 hard dance fanatics unite in the city of Oisterwijk at the start of June to celebrate the beginning of the outdoor festival season. The consistently impressive lineup and high quality production has labelled this event one of the most highly anticipated festivals of the season.

This year’s sold out edition will centre around the superhero theme with a phenomenal line up. The outdoor main stage will host all of your hardstyle favourites including D-Block & S-te-Fan, Sound Rush and exclusive back to back performances. The indoor main stage will be hosted by B-Front and E-Force as well as Lny Tnz’s ‘Fvck Genres’. With eight stages to explore each day, this event has something for everyone.
Intents Festival takes place at D’n Donk stadium in Oisterwijk, Netherlands (Moergestelseweg 32D, 5062 JW Oisterwijk, Netherlands).
The town of Oisterwijk is located in the South of the Netherlands, just outside Tilburg. The nearest major airport is Eindhoven, less than 30 minutes away from the event. Intercity trains as well as buses regularly operate between Eindhoven and Tilburg. The quickest and easiest way to get to the event is by public transport. Upon arrival at Oisterwijk station, free festival shuttles will transport visitors to and from the event. Buses also operate from the nearby city of Breda, with tickets available for 18.50 euros per day. Free parking is also available at the parking lot in Moergestel. Return shuttles operate between the festival and parking lot for 5 euros and tickets can be purchased on the day or in advance.
A number of official travel companies also offer all inclusive packages, which transport visitors directly to and from most major cities in the Netherlands, Germany, Norway and Denmark.
A number of nearby accomodation options are available throughout the event. The nearest major city is Tilburg, which offers many options ranging from budget to five star properties. A single stop trip will transport visitors from Tilburg to Oisterwijk where they can then travel to the event by shuttle. The most popular accomodation option for Intents Festival is camping. ‘IntentsCity’ will return in 2019 and grants visitors access to all three days of the event. The campground features a number of high end toilet and shower facilities as well as a range of dining and entertainment options. Camping guests have the option to bring their own camping gear or opt for pre-setup options. ‘Festipi’, ’KarTent’ and ‘Flexotel’ options are available to purchase at an additional cost.
Aside from the world class performances across multiple stages, there are number of things to do in and around the festival. Carnival rides have grown to become a popular staple in the Dutch festival scene and offer a panoramic view of the entire festival grounds. Camping guests have access to many new entertainment options throughout IntentsCity including a brand new cinema!
