A few years ago, five techno-loving friends met fortuitously in the mountains of Andorra. Together, they created the most dreamlike ski and EDM event in the most beautiful location on earth: the Hibernation Festival. Think of it as one massive ski party where you get to indulge in fresh powder during the day, then party it up at night and dance till the morning, as several stages will be playing EDM with epic artists at the helm all night long. When you’ve got these elements combined plus the biggest ski area in Europe at your doorstep, you know you’re in for one heavenly experience. This is the perfect opportunity to explore Pas de la Casa, a resort town located just across the border from France. Set on an altitude of 2,000 meters above sea level, the snow-capped peaks of Pas come alive during the Hibernation Festival. It’s the highest in the majestic Pyrenees, a renowned destination known for world-class skiing and snowboarding.
‘Techno, skiing, good times, and a painfully scenic location: the Hibernation Festival is one with such a special atmosphere guaranteed to send you home feeling inspired.’
Past festivals have featured Claptone, Joachim Pastor, Stephan Bodzin, Adriatique, Sam Paganini, and Ellen Allien among many other stellar acts. But don’t get us wrong: the fun does NOT stop after the festival ends. Pas de la Casa is dotted with scenic restaurants and bars, and it would be a sin to miss out on the vibrant nightlife that awaits you on the snowy peaks. So pack your warmest clothing and a ready-to-party attitude because this is a festival for the books.
