Australia’s favourite regional festival and one of RAD’s top festivals in Australia. Groovin The Moo is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2019. The annual music festival held in six regional cities around Australia is home to a range of local and international artists. Ranging from alternative to electronic and more, Groovin The Moo has grown to become one of the most anticipated events in the country.

Groovin The Moo regularly hosts Australia’s biggest talents including Alison Wonderland, Flight Facilities, Hilltop Hoods and more. Popular international headliners such as Dillon Francis, Odesza and Twenty One Pilots are also known to perform at the regional event.
Groovin The Moo takes place in six regional cities around Australia.
Adelaide: Adelaide Showground (Goodwoood Road, Wayville SA 5034)
Maitland Showground (Blomfield Street, South Maitland NSW 2320).

The festival can be accessed by both car and public transport. Intercity trains operate throughout Australia, with direct routes regularly running from major cities to regional areas. A number of additional bus services will also run from Maitland, Canberra, Bendigo, Townsville and Bunbury throughout the event.
Bus tickets can be purchased directly from Moshtix in addition to your festival ticket. Official pick up and drop of zones as well as public parking are also available at nearby train stations. Regular shuttle service travel between the station and the event.
There are a number of accommodation options available in the regional locations as well as nearby city centres. Airbnb options are also available in the city as well as within walking distance of the event. As Groovin The Moo is a single day event, most visitors do not require nearby accommodation and reside in the nearest major cities.

There are a number of things to do at the festival as well as in the nearby cities before and after the event. A generous amount of popular bars and restaurants can be found in all city centres for some local cuisines or cheap drinks.
Newcastle has some of the best bars in the country and is sure to be filled with locals and visitors, eager to kick off the party. At the festival, a number of stages ranging from ‘Moolin Rouge’ to ‘Mootown’ can be explored throughout the event. There are countless opportunities to discover your new favourite artist at this event! Food and merchandise vendors are also present throughout all the events for visitors to enjoy.
The next edition of Groovin The Moo will take place over three weekends in in April and May, 2019.
