Originating as a one-parade event in 1891, Fiesta San Antonio has grown into an 11-day long celebration of San Antonio’s rich and diverse culture. Evolving into one of the nations’ premier festivals, the event continues to honour the memories of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto; while raising funds to provide services to San Antonio’s citizens throughout the year, Each official event that takes place during the Fiesta is sponsored by a local nonprofit or military organisation.
