Electric Mountain Festival 2019 6450 Soelden, Austria Solden AustriaWant to have incomparable party fun at a truly irreplaceable site? The Electric Mountain Festival – as the name suggests – is the event you need to attend! The world-class DJs are sure to enrapture the electronic music lovers in the middle of the Hot Spot in the Austrian Alps.
The festival brings the coolest Electric Dance Music Scene artists to the alpine valley – Ötztal – who will turn the valley into an ultimate DJ resort in the Alps. The music party euphoria will be further heightened with an added fun of skiing at the heart of the Ötztal Mountain World.
Holding a Sölden day ski pass makes you entitled to attend the concert without worrying about purchasing an additional pass for the concert – a place to witness top-class DJs in awe as they enchant you with some of the best electronic music to play.
“Let the music set you free, unleashing the daring side of you”
Sölden is located in the West of Austria, in the province of TIROL to be more exact. It snuggles amid the ÖTZTAL Valley.
If you are an EU citizen, you do not need a visa to visit Austria as part of its Schengen agreement. You can get to this village by car, train or plane.
To cut down your travel time, search for direct flights to Innsbruck airport. From there you can reach the Ötztal by train as well. All local trains stop in Ötztal Bahnhof at the ingress to the valley. A public bus line or taxi can be taken from there.
There are around 10,000 beds in this beautiful alpine resort, but in peak season, getting an accommodation of your taste may become difficult. Hence, it is better to book the hotel where you intend to stay before arriving. The Saturday to Saturday booking is how it works in Sölden. So, you may face inconvenience to book a part week until a few days prior to arriving.
However, if you have just arrived, head to the leisure centre for the main tourist information. In case, if you find it closed, look out for pensions and hotels with green room available signs. If you are fortunate to find an accommodation in Sölden, try nearby Obergurgl or Vent. But since the public buses finish early, you might need a car for that.
All in all, it is always better to book your hotel in advance. There is a range of accommodation options available – from 4 stars to pensions – that you can pick up for €25 per night.

From the valley itself, the newly opened Giggijochbahn and the Gaislachkoglbahn – the world’s most advanced cable cars – give snowboarders and skiers direct access to a wide range of pistes catering for all abilities.
There are a variety of bars, huts and restaurants as well as a range of après-ski. Sölden is fairly a small village, hence, most visitors are most likely to have a short walk from their place of stay to the lifts. Tobogganing is also among various other outdoor activities to enjoy in Sölden.
The festival will take place in Sölden, starting from April 4, 2019, and ending on April 5, 2019 – 2 days of sheer joy and ecstasy.
