Where to view Electric Love Festival?

The event takes place on the motorsport race track in Salzburg 1, 5325 Plainfeld, Austria. For three days, the race track turns into the festival grounds.

How to get around Salzburg?

The public transportation in Salzburg is very efficient and the fares are very reasonable.  But as always, we will advise you to travel by foot or local bike because the city itself is very small. You don’t necessarily need public transport to commute – buy a city map and explore the beauty of the city on foot instead.

Unless you are staying somewhere far from the main city, then taxis are a good means of transportation in Salzburg. You can find the local taxi companies numbers online or hail one from across the road. The taxi fares are also quite reasonable.

Hiring a fiacre (horse-drawn carriages) is a fun alternative to try as well. They can be hired from Alstadt’s Residenzplatz square and they will take you to the top city attractions.

The fortress is on the top of the Festungsberg hill and has been occupied by the rulers of Salzburg for over a thousand years. However, they have now provided a cable car facility which leads from the bottom of the hill and allows tourists to access the castle easily.

If you find peace in gardens and greenery; if you love classic European architecture; then there’s nothing than a walking tour of the city. You will find many historical building and gardens in Salzburg. The Mirabell palace is one of the most famous and finest gardens of Austria.

For people with a sweet tooth, Mozartkugel, also called Mozart ball, is a must try chocolate in Salzburg. Sip a glass of the famous Märzen (lager) beer of Austria and fall in love with the taste of the city.
