Dreambeach Villaricos 2019: Spain’s enormous seaside party

After five massive years of Spain’s iconic seaside party, Dreambeach Villaricos returns to the coastal resort for another epic celebration. The week-long celebration draws in a world class line-up each year for only a fraction of the cost! Combined with extravagant stage designs, spectacular light shows and dazzling visual effects, Dreambeach Villaricos has it all!

This year’s edition features a number of talented local and international names from across multiple genres. Popular headliners, including Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki, Don Diablo and W&W are scheduled to perform on the main stage. A number of other big names ranging from drum and bass to techno and hardstyle also make up the lineup. A special main stage take-over by ‘I Am Hardstyle’ will also bring all your favourite hard dance legends to the iconic main stage.

How to get around Villaricos

There are a number of ways to get to the Spanish city of Villaricos. The nearest airport is Almeria, located approximately 10 minutes from the city centre. Many major airlines such as Lufthansa and Finair as well as budget airlines Transavia, Iberia and Condor operate throughout this airport. 

The nearest major train station is Almeria Intermodal Station, with tickets available to purchase up to 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. A number of bus services also operate between Almería and most Spanish capitals such as Madrid, Barcelona, Seville and more. Finally, Villaricos can also be accessed by boat, travelling to and from the ports of Transmediterránea, Ferrimaroc and Limadet.

A number of accomodation options are available for Dreambeach Spain. The festival offers an official camping zone in a pine forest just next to Palomares Beach. Located just 500 meters from the event, the camping area includes all necessary services including showers, toilets, lockers, healthcare and more. Parking is also available throughout the camping area. 

In addition to camping, affordable hotel and rental options are also available throughout the city of Almería as well as directly beside the beach and festival. A range of nearby options can be found below. 

Things to do in Villaricos

Throughout your stay in Villaricos, there are a number of popular attractions and activities. Hosted on the beach, Dreambeach Festival allows visitors to freely experience many of the stunning local beaches. Popular beaches include Playa de Puerto Reya, Vera-Playa, Playa de la Fábrica del Duro and El Playazo. There are also many nearby nature reserves, which are perfect for your next off the grid adventure.

A number of paid attractions are also available including the nearby aquatic park ‘Parque Acuatico Vera’ and the Desert Springs Golf Club.
