The Djakarta Warehouse Project is two days of musical and cultural diversity.

The Djakarta Warehouse Project or DWP is the largest EDM festival in Indonesia. What started in 2008 as just an EDM club party has ballooned into an unbelievable 3-day cultural and musical experience. This year marks their 10-year anniversary and some of the biggest names in the music industry like The Weekend, Major Lazer and RL Grime are all set to headline this year’s event. Festival goers are treated to 3 days of dancing to incredible music and just like most festivals, people love to get dressed up – festival style. No outside food or drink will be allowed but inside the festival there will be food available all day and night at the “Eats and Beat”.

Event coordinators suggest buying tickets and packages right from there website or pre-approved third-party ticket vendors as there have been problems with fake tickets in the past. It is also recommended to purchase one of the packages the coordinators have set up and add the option of transportation to make things incredibly easy so you can enjoy the most of your festival experience.

This years DWP will be taking place at the GWK Cultural Park in Bali, Indonesia. 

How to get around Bali

The best and most fun way to get to DWP is by motorcycle. You can also take a car. The event organizers have also set up several different travel packages that include shuttles to and from pre-selected hotel packages which makes things super safe and easy for those of us who like to do the least amount of work and planning possible.

DWP has put together multiple packages which already include accommodation for the duration of the festival. There are 6 different packages you can choose from and they each include two 3-day festival tickets and 3 nights at a local hotel. They offer packages for all different price ranges.

Things to do in Bali

There is so many rad things to do in Bali. It is a top destination for surfing, for both beginners as well as experienced surfers. Beginners should head to sports like Dreamland, Padang Padang RIGHT, Kuta and Canguu. There are some excellent surf schools for first timers. If you already surf you can head to the Bukit Peninsula and explore Uluwatu, Impossibles and Padang Padang. You can experience incredible diving and snorkeling, swimming with sharks, river rafting and tubing, jet skiing, quad biking as well as many other unforgettable hiking trails. Bali is just a beautiful place with jaw dropping landscapes.

There are waterfalls like the Sekumpul Waterfalls and Melanting Waterfalls. You can visit the monkey sanctuary and the turtle conservation center, Bali butterfly park and/or the Bali bird sanctuary – all these places are education centers for these important local animals. Bali has the most incredible beaches in the world to relax on or to explore.

You also have to visit the Kintamani Volcano, Mount Batur and the iconic Ubud Tanah Lot. There are also loads of other sacred temples to walk through like Uluwatu, Goa Gajah, Lempuyang and Pura Tirta Empul.
