Coracle Music Festival: Vietnam’s Hottest, Newest Beach Music Festival

Only the best Vietnamese and international chow will serve as your food for the weekend, plus you’ll have access to local craft beer and lots of other libations throughout the festival. Where to view the Coracle Music Festival

The Coracle Music Festival takes place at the Ho Tram Campgrounds, located just two and a half hours away from Saigon.

Two-day general admission passes will be available for all festival goers.

How to get around Ho Tram

Event organizers will be providing several buses to transport festival goers to and from District 2 in Saigon to Ho Tram. The rides cost 150.000 VND each way. Just be at the Saigon Outcast located in Thao Dien at least half an hour before the scheduled departure. Additionally, a bus stop is located around 10 minutes away from the camp grounds.

Other transportation options in Ho Tram include Grab bike or a taxi.

Where to stay in Ho Tram

The best way to experience the Coracle Music Festival will be to take advantage of the on-site camping. Tents good for 2 and 8 are available; pillows and blankets will be provided.

Things to do in Ho Tram

Ho Tram boasts of 10 kilometers of gorgeous golden beaches fringed by coconut trees. This hidden gem of a beach doesn’t offer much else to do except relaxation, which will come in handy after the festival. Indulge in fresh, cheap seafood at the many thatched restaurants near the Ho Tram fishing village. Try your hand in luck at the Grand Casino. When it’s time to unwind, treat yourself to one of the many seaside spas. The partying doesn’t have to end when the Coracle Music Festival is over; Ho Tram’s laid-back nightlife scene and beach parties beckon you every night.

When you’re done exploring Ho Tram, head back to Saigon. Be captivated by the energy, sights, and experiences that this old city has to offer. Admire the beautiful French colonial architecture. Visit the pagodas and go see a Water Puppet show. Go shopping in the chaotic but fun markets around Saigon, and eat all the delicious street food. Wash it down with a local beer. Check out the pulsating nightlife, with parties that go on well into the morning.
