Join the Chase with some of the biggest DJ’s in the world at Western Canada’s largest EDM event. Chasing Summer Festival returns to Calgary this August for two epic days of chart-topping tracks and summer vibes. ‘Living in the prairies of Canada’, winter dominates the calendar while the most desired season of summer is significantly shorter in comparison. Chasing Summer Festival celebrates the passion of holding onto the Summer, which Canadian’s love so dearly.

This year’s edition will welcome a number of popular local and international names, including the winner of the Your Shot DJ competition. The Chainsmokers will headline day one of the event, alongside Steve Aoki, W&W and Slushii. Day two will be headlined by Above & Beyond, as well as Alesso, KSHMR and Matoma. Other popular artists include the likes of Infected Mushroom, K?D, Spencer Brown, Lost Kings, Elephante, Paz and Jonas Blue.
Chasing Summer Festival takes place at the Max Bell Centre Festival Grounds in Calgary, Canada. You can find the event at 1001 Barlow Trail SE, Calgary, AB T2E 6S2, Canada.
The Calgary Transit System makes it easy to get to and around the city of Calgary. The nearest airport is Calgary International Airport, located approximately 15 minutes north of the city centre. Visitors can take bus route 300 directly from the Airport into the city centre, with a travel time of approximately 40 minutes.
When getting around Calgary, the city offers a range of fast and efficient public transport options. The easiest and most popular way to get around is via light rail or C-Train, with two lines operating in either direction of downtown Calgary. The downtown portion of the C-train route travels along 7 Avenue and is a free fare zone. You can ride the C-train for free between 3rd Street East and 11th Street West. Visitors travelling to the festival via public transport can take light rail route 202 directly to ‘Franklin’, followed by a short walk. You can also take bus routes 1 or 307.
Located just outside the city centre along the Barlow Trail, there is a wide range of accommodation options available in the surrounding areas of the festival grounds. The nearest hotel is the Novel Bed and Breakfast, located just across the river; approximately a 35 minute walk from the venue.
The two main areas near the event are Northeast Calgary and Downtown. You can find countless accommodation options in both areas, ranging from hostels to hotels, Airbnb’s and more.
