Winner of the DJ Awards ‘Best International Festival 2018’ is back for a massive 16th edition. From Thursday April 11th – Sunday 14th 2019, Caprices festival returns to Switzerland‘s stunning Crans-Montana resort. In-house party MDRNTY is also celebrating its 11th year. To mark the festivities, there are going to be brand new stages and a massive lineup of epic artists.
2018’s ‘Best International Festival’ winner is back in Switzerland’s Crans-Montana with the best names in house, minimal and techno
The first phase line-up features a carefully curated group of over 20 local and international artists. Popular techno and underground house artists such as Seth Troxler, Black Coffee, Sven Vath and Marcel Dettmann are among the first wave of talent; with more yet to be announced.
The party will hit the slopes during the day and continue on into the night. Stages will be set up at the bottom and top of the slopes so you can pack in all the action!
Caprices is the ultimate winter paradise, offering a truly memorable musical and cultural experience. Caprices Festival will transform the stunning Swiss French resort of Crans-Montana in the Valais mountains into a veritable temple of electronic music. Kicking things off on the 11th April 2019.
Friday will feature minimal masters including Edward, Raresh, Ricardo Villalobos and Margaret Dygas. The MDRNTY stage will also welcome house and techno tastemakers; including some of Ibiza’s biggest stars. Seth Troxler, Black Coffee, Jamie Jones and Peggy Gou will all be part of the action.
Saturday at MDRNTY will entertain those with a taste of spiritual deep house. Desert Shaman Bedouin will be joined by Behrouz, Audiofly and Blond:Ish. MOON will also welcome global techno heavyweights Pan-Pot, DVS1, Marcel Dettmann and Len Faki.
Finally, Sunday will see an iconic closing set from Sven Väth, with Fabe and trio Apollnia closing out the final party in style.
To get to Crans-Montana by train check out the site route to Sierre Train Station on www.sbb.ch
Once you get to Sierre Train Station head to the Montana station where a free shuttle will take you to the entrance of the Festival. Expect and 1 hour 45 min trip from Lausanne.
To get to Crans-Montana by car head on the A9 motorway and take the “Sierre-Ouest” exit. Then follow the sign “Crans-Montana” (15 km, about 25 minutes from the exit). Aprrox 1 hour and 30 mins from Lausanne.
