Beloved Festival, located in the peaceful forests of Oregon crosses the boundaries between music festival and spiritual awakening unlike any other event. Comprising of art, music, yoga, meditation, workshops, discussions and plenty of ecstatic dance, Beloved has the potential to truly change your life.

Awareness, continually questioning of social norms, personal development and consciousness of your impact on the Earth are all topics covered during the roster of events at Beloved. In line with this, Beloved offers permaculture lessons, compostable toilets, bamboo cutlery for rent and recycling throughout.

One of the stand out features of Beloved Festival is that there is only one music stage. Rather than making you choose between artists, the Beloved team has carefully curated a line-up that works as one cohesive story allowing you to enjoy it all in one place. Each artist has a specific place and time within the story to have a full impact on the crowd.

The line-up includes everything from ancient Middle-Eastern chanting to modern day electronica. Another special feature is the Sunday Dancefloor Set which brings performers down to ground level so that everyone enjoys the festival experience on the same plane.

Where to view Beloved Festival 2019

Beloved Festival is situated in the heart of a forest near Tidewater Falls, approximately 2.5 hours from Portland, Oregon.

There is one music stage so head to this mandala heart of the festival to soak up the musical energy throughout the weekend. If you want to get involved in other parts of the event, explore the Purple Star Temple, the Yoga Pavilion, The Doorway to Devotion, The Secret Lake, the Grove of Sacred Harmonies and the Sacred Fire.

Food, drink, art and ceremonial goods are available in the Market and Vendor Village.

How to get to Beloved Festival 

The majority of festivalgoers drive to the festival, although car sharing and using biofuel is recommended to reduce your impact. Driving directions will be available on the 2019 website closer to the festival.

All festivalgoers must register their entry at the Welcome Center off-site before driving into the festival and parking on-site.

An eco-shuttle service is also available from Portland to the festival, leaving on Thursday and Friday and returning Monday.

Once in the festival, all features can be reached on foot (going bare-foot is common, encouraged and even obligatory on the dancefloor).

Where to stay in Tidewater, Oregon

Most festivalgoers choose to camp so that they can stay within the forest for the whole weekend. There are a few camping options available, from simple general camping to car camping and stylish yurt camping. The yurts include everything from queen mattresses and plush bedding, to shelves, clothes hangers and shower tokens.

If you wish to bag the best spot, choose an Early Entry Pass so that you can enter the site on the Thursday and set up your camp first.
