Three competitive distances are available at this event: full marathon, half marathon and 10km
The race course will take runners on a voyage of discovery into this alluring land where sacred pagodas are scattered across the plains, creating a mystical, stunning landscape. Dating back one thousand years, these beautiful places of worship showcase the glorious era of 11th-century kings and Bagan’s beauty and historical signifigance.
Runners will have ample opportunity to admire the beautiful temples of Bagan and be distracted from the scorching heat and sandy route. The area’s small villages exude an aura of yesteryear and you will get a sense of what life was like long ago as you run through these traditional settlements.
Entry is part of a multi-day tour package, giving you the perfect opportunity to run and experience this unique destination. Extensions can be added to your itinerary, providing you greater access to this wonderful land.
